Dr. Dimitrios “Jimmy” Kilimitzoglou, DDS, is a distinguished alumnus of Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine with a strong educational foundation and extensive training in general, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. His advanced residencies at SUNY Stony Brook and NYU College of Dentistry have equipped him with expertise in the latest dental techniques and technologies, making him a leader in his field.

Dr. Kilimitzoglou’s dedication to excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious BENCO’s 40 Under 40 award and Stony Brook University’s Distinguished Alumnus of the Year honor. He is recognized not only for his clinical skills but also for his commitment to the advancement of the dental profession. As an Associate Clinical Professor at Stony Brook University, he plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of dentists.

In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, Dr. Kilimitzoglou is passionate about giving back through humanitarian dental missions, where he provides much-needed care to underserved communities. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys gourmet cooking, SCUBA diving, music, and sports — interests that mirror his commitment to pursuing excellence and balance in all areas of his life.

Dr. Thomas Patrie combines his artistic flair from a successful music career with profound dental expertise. Trained in cello performance at Oberlin Conservatory and furthering his studies at Brandeis and New England Conservatory, he transitioned from music to dentistry, earning his D.D.S. from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Patrie serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of General Dentistry at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he shares his knowledge and experience with aspiring dental professionals. He honed his skills in comprehensive treatment and implant prosthetics during his residency at Stony Brook and has provided dental care to the Shinnecock Indian Nation.

A strong advocate for natural dentistry, Dr. Patrie is certified in safe mercury amalgam removal by the IAOMT, and in 2020 became a board-certified Naturopathic Medical Doctor in Integrative Biologic Dental Medicine. Residing in Setauket, he enjoys surfing, playing the cello and banjo, and cherishing moments with his two sons and wife when he’s not in the office.
